How to Submit Online application for NEET UG-India's Comman Entrance Exam for MBBS/BDS
NEET UG-How to apply online:
One common entrance exam for all medical colleges (MBBS/BDS) in India is now a reality. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test application can now made through online. Here I am sharing the things that be noted before applying online.
Biology/Biotechnology be studied as part of +2.
Those who studied plus two without studying biology (only studied physics, chemistry and English) from one Board and taking biology from another board or National Institute of Open School not be eligible for NEET.
Those who completed plus two in Science stream with English from National Institute of Open School is eligible to apply (Required Mark be attained as NEET prospect).
Medical colleges-353 and Dental colleges-297
No: of Medical colleges and dental colleges that are coming under NEET are available in Appendix 9 of prospect. Totally there are 353 Medical colleges and 297 Dental colleges.Details about the college management (whether it is Govt:/Govt:society/society/trust etc) and total no: of available seats are also included in the prospects. Considering Kerala state about 23 Medical and 23 Dental colleges are comes under NEET UG(totally 2850 seats for MBBS & 1150 seats for BDS)are available.
Deadline
NEET UG Fee payment:
- Fee without late fee:31st December
- Fee with first late fee:15th january
- Fee with second late fee:31st January
NEET UG application form Reciept:
- Fee without late fee:10th january
- Fee with first late fee:25th january
- Fee with second late fee:10 february
Fee payment:
The deadline of fee payment is December 31st.For General//OBC the fee is 1000rs and for SC/ST,PH it is 550rs.Another option is available called late fee.This is for those who paying after 31st.They have to pay 2000rs for General//OBC and 1550 for SC/ST,PH.
Fees payment mode:
Fee payment can done in three different ways,
- candidates can pay online using their debit/credit card.
- They can use Chelan form downloaded at the time of online application which can used to pay fees through Canara,syndicate or post office.The details of this is available at www.cbseneet.nic.in under the link"locate bank/E-post office.
- The third thing is late fee option for those who are paying fees after the deadline.
AIMS and JISMER are not included in NEET
As they separately taking candidates by their own entrance exam they are not comes under NEET exam.Visiting their sites will help to get information about their entrance exam.Normally AIMS conducts exams in june and JISMER in may.
You will get opportunity for correction:
Try to avoid any mistake while filling online.If any problems/mistakes occurs you will get a chance to correct it after the last date.Only personal details can corrected.The opted exam center,language of exam and chosen seats can't corrected.
Check before sending Conformation page:
In conformation page the candidate should put signature and Thump Impression at the space provided. The parent signature should put at the correct space.This page should get signed by a gazetted officer/school principal. Two copies of photos with white Background is needed.Before pasting it to the space given the candidate should write their name and application no: at the back side of the photos.Check whether the application no: on the Address slip and conformation page is same.
Send this conformation page along with the required/asked proofs in a A5 size cover to bse either in speed post/reg:post and not by courier.Paste the address slip(taken after online registration) on the cover.
Take at least 4 printouts of conformation page.This will in future if any problem occurs.Always keep the receipt given by PO while sending conformation page.
To check whether the cbse received conformation page:
15 days after the closing date,the details of the applications are available in their website.During this time if you are getting the message as"Form is not received",then after 7 days send the details of application,Chelan form,and post office receipt to cbse.
